Through the Crown Point Community Foundation Women’s Giving Circle Scholarship, Crown Point Gamma Theta awards one scholarship to a Crown Point woman over the age of 21 continuing her education beyond high school at a college, university or technical school or program. The Gamma Theta Scholarship is $1000 payable to the university, college or tech school in two $500 payments.

The state organization of Tri Kappa will award a variety of scholarships to college students throughout the state in the spring. Each scholarship awarded is for $1,000.00. Since 1914 Tri Kappa has provided scholarships and thousands of dollars are awarded statewide each year. The Crown Point Gamma Theta Chapter seeks applicants to sponsor for an academic scholarship given to students from each of twelve provinces in Indiana. Additional scholarships will be awarded dependent upon the funds available. Each chapter may sponsor one applicant for each type of scholarship. Any full-time student currently enrolled in a baccalaureate or graduate program, who has completed at least one academic year, may apply. Criteria used by the Tri Kappa selection committee are academic achievement, strong goals, extracurricular activities, work experience and volunteer service.
